Business and Technology Programs: Accounting Assistant, Administrative Assistant, Advanced Microsoft Office Specialist, Executive Administrative Assistant, General Office Support, Microsoft Office Business Suite, Bookkeeping/Accounting I, Bookkeeping/Accounting II, Bookkeeping/Accounting III.

Medical Certifications Programs: In partnership with several local educational institutions, the Liberty Adult Education offers multiple medical certifications programs in the following areas, all of which can be completed in as little as few weeks: Medical Insurance Biller/Coder, Medical Receptionist, Medical Administrative Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant Training, Pharmacy Technician, Dental Assistant, Phlebotomy Technician CPT1.

  • All registrations are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Participants must pre-register for all programs.
  • New students must register in person at the Adult Education Office to complete a registration form.
  • New students will be required to attend an orientation meeting and take a placement test.​

PROGRAMS OF STUDY:
​A major is the field of specialization you choose, such as Psychology or Computer Science. Depending on the major, you may choose to earn an Associate Degree or a Certificate of Achievement. See the LMC Catalog for requirements for each major. If you plan to transfer to a 4-year college, see a counselor—requirements vary according to major and transfer institution. See the degree checklist for details on the courses for each major.

Most LMC majors are “open” to any student. The Registered and Vocational Nursing, Fire Academy and Law Enforcement Academy however, require application to the programs after completion of specific prerequisite courses.

Allied Health Academy Individual Classes: Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Office Skills, Insurance Billing & Health Information Management, Introduction to Medical Coding, National Certification Review, Medical Calculations, Medical First Responder, and CPR/First Aid.

ADMISSION:
Classes are open to all adults (18 years old and older) who are presently not attending high school and are able to benefit from instruction.

REGISTRATION:
Registration for CTE classes takes place through the Adult Education Main Office. This can be done in person, by mail or FAX. 

ATTENDANCE:
Regular daily attendance is necessary if students expect to complete the courses or program in which they are enrolled.

CLASS-SIZE/CLOSURE:
A class with fewer than 10 students present may be closed after the first hour.

REFUND POLICY: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS FOR BOOKS, CLASSES, FEES OR SUPPLIES. Prorated refunds or credit of fees are issued for a cancelled class only.
