The Vision

​There are many reasons an individual may want to return to school as an adult. Perhaps they want to launch a new career, or be better equipped to help their children with their homework at night. While the decision to further their education can have a positive impact on their life, it will also have a ripple effect for their family and community. Members of the Contra Costa Adult Education Consortium know how adult education can help families thrive and enhance the local economy. This publication will highlight the success stories of adult learners served by the consortium to show the true value of adult education. It will introduce readers to the consortium and give an overview of the consortium members’ plans to expand opportunities and provide seamless pathways for adult learners to achieve their goals.
